Cruelty-Free Summer Essentials

Summer has officially graced us with its sunshiny presence, and I for one am beyond stoked! *cartwheels*
I can't wait for vegan barbecues, mini road trips, chillin' with my homies, snugglin' with my boo under the summer night sky, and hittin' up the beach!

Before you start going nuts with your summer plans, it's a good idea to stock up on some cruelty-free hot weather essentials. Here's a quickie list of some of my faves!

Summer Must-Haves:

• You've gotta protect yourself from harmful UV rays. I ♥ ♥ ♥ Kiss My Face Sunscreen SPF 50. (<– 50!!)
• Lookin' to get your gams all smooth and bikini ready? Wally Cruelty-Free Razor to the rescue!

You have to imagine it possible before you can see something. You can have the evidence right in front of you, but if you can't imagine something that has never existed before, its hard to dream it. Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

BUTTERFLY MEDICINE

The butterfly is great admired among American Indians and is a bringer of joy and peace. Cultures all over earth revere its delicate and colorful beauty. Most butterflies live very short lives, only a week or two, except for the Angle Wing and Monarch live about six months.  They experience stages of development from egg in the cocoon to caterpillar to adult butterfly. 

The short life span and beauty of the butterfly is symbolic of early spiritual growth.  Lessons of life will be shown during sometimes difficult formative years and come to light as the butterfly spirit begins to fly.  They hold the gift of transformation and soul evolution.  The butterfly is reminiscent of freedom and creativity. 

Butterflies have a pair of large compound oval eyes made up of thousands of individual lenses.  They can see a single image clearly and are able to perceive ultraviolet wavelengths of light.  This suggests clairvoyant abilities for those that hold this totem.

The antennae of the butterfly has small knobs on each end which is said to play a role in orientation.  When one antennae is missing the butterfly will fly in circles unable to find its way.  Those with this medicine need to stay consciously connected to spirit at all times in order to arrive at their desired destination. 

Butterflies are not very organized, often return to the same flower many times before they realize it, and cannot remember relatives.  This trait shows us to be better prepared for life's challenges and relationships. 

The butterfly represents the process of transformation and shape shifting.  When butterfly shows up, make note of the most important issues confronting you at the moment.  What state of change are you at in regard to them?

Butterflies remind us not to take life so seriously. They feed on flowers that they help pollinate, thereby further spreading beauty. They represent the element of air, quickly changing and ever moving, so gracefully.  Butterflies are messengers of the moment. They come in a variety of colors. To understand the message that the butterfly holds for you a study of its colors can be helpful.

Whenever an eco system is damaged, butterfly is usually the first to leave. They are especially sensitive to the harmony of earth. If butterfly comes to you in a hurt, trapped or ill way, you are being asked to stop disturbing the natural design of life and to flow with events in a more gentle, natural way....

Shark sightings on Long Island NY? Interesting.

Two 18-foot sharks shut down a Long Island beach Wednesday after they were spotted lurking in waters just off the coast, officials said.

A seal carcass also washed up near the East End beach, but it was unclear if it had been killed by the sharks, officials said.

Cloudy skies made it difficult to confirm the exact species of the large predators, but authorities closed the West Hamptons Dunes beach after they saw the dorsal fins poking from the ocean surface.

"My bet is that they're sharks," said West Hampton Dunes Mayor Gary Vegliante. "My hope is that they're basking [not predatory] sharks."

Reports of the sharks started Tuesday afternoon, just a day after the Memorial Day holiday, officials said.

Vegliante said that the ban will be lifted once the species of the sharks are confirmed or when they swim away, which could take a few more days.

"Once we're sure that it's safe, we'll lift the ban," Vegliante said.

They have audacity to talk shit but yet they have their own loud style of fashion trying to make a statement. Rocking leather jackets wearing all black judging other peoples styles...to me that is a  fashion statement. That is a hypocritical thing to say and even do. To constantly contradict yourself in more then one way when you are trying to make a statement blindly realizing it, sadly  mistaken you are beyond manipulated and brainwashed. Such fools are so caught up in their own bs nonsense they fail to realize what is really going, they don't even know what the hell they are talking about ....and that is even more pathetic. Clueless does not even define this situation. Over photo shopped pictures say more then enough..  Anybody could look flawless with that program.- Just saying.  If they did not  really care what people thought about them then why over edit pictures?? Fixing every flaw imaginable that they have. That alone says more then enough. (Pause) Think before you speak for once, maybe you will actually make sense. Everyone has their own sense of style regardless. HELLO!!!! How stupid can a person be seriously?  They live such miserable lives always focusing on everything and anything negative. They will never experience what true happiness is. Delusional is not even a strong enough word to use for this example.So ridiculously insecure with themselves literally Living in a fantasy world since the real world is too much to handle, the weak never could survive reality or even accept it. What  an excuse to not live your life to the fullest.  Fashion is art, its creation, transformation. To me this is a desperate cry for attention, someone please pay attention to these lost souls already!!! Geez.
