JFK - Secrecy is Repugnant (1961 Speech)

"The very word secrecy is inherently repugnant in a free and open society."

"The dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of facts far outweigh the dangers cited to justify it." -jfk

I heard this speech for the first time while watching Zeitgeist on video. It was a powerful speech touching on the dangers of secrecy in a free republic. When I listen to JFK speak, I recognize that he was aware of the dark side of our government. He was a great man.. not perfect, but great .
