Right now the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is considering a plan that, if passed, would allow people to gun down wolves from helicopters on Unimak Island in Alaska. Aerial hunts are exceedingly cruel, as deaths are slow and agonizing for the many animals who are merely maimed. These killings also tear apart families, leaving orphaned young animals vulnerable to terrible fates.
Please contact the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service by January 31 and urge it to take aerial hunting off the table. Send polite comments to:
